As a Real Estate Professional
Michael has spent over three decades in the real estate field, the vast majority of which In the mortgage industry. During his career, he has been involved in nearly a half billion dollars in real estate transactions. He has been a loan officer, underwriter, branch manager, regional manager and trainer. It was when he became a trainer that he found his true passion. And it was when Michael met Floyd that the passion was molded by the master speaker/trainer, Floyd Wickman. Michael’s commitment to excellence is evidenced by his designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America as a Certified Loan Officer, a distinction held by fewer than 0.1% of loan officers nationwide. He also is very focused on customer service, which is evidenced by him winning the regional customer service award for Norwest (now Wells Fargo).
As a Person
Michael is a single dad of three boys, Chris, Nick and Tyler and never misses an opportunity to “Wickmanize” them, sharing with them the philosophies that Floyd teaches to mold them into excellent men. So much so that his oldest is pursuing a career in sales and his second son is in college to become a teacher. His youngest son is going into high school and Michael never misses an opportunity to share Floyd’s wisdom and teachings with him. Through this, Michael has learned that Floyd’s teachings not only mold excellent sales people, they mold excellent young men and women.
The other passion that Michael has is music. He has been a performing musician most of his life and continues to perform today. He has worked with artists like Cheap Trick and Greg “Fingers” Taylor from Jimmy Buffet’s Coral Reefer Band. He has also shared the stage with many well-known musicians, including Jerry Lee Lewis, Three Dog Night, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.

Michael has embraced Floyd’s core values and has a deep-seeded desire to share Floyd’s values and teachings with as many people as possible. To help sales professionals reach new heights in their careers and bringing to them the methods and teachings of Floyd Wickman so that they too can realize great success in their lives.
