Dean Moss started his Real Estate Career in 1994 with a successful Century 21 Franchise on the North Side of Chicago.  Despite a sluggish Real Estate Market when he began, Dean built a successful book of business quickly by prospecting and listing as many For Sale By Owner and Expired Listings as he could find.  He quickly became known as “The Troubleshooter,” very often selling listings otherwise unsalable within a few weeks.

Dozens of referrals followed, and Dean’s business quickly grew.  But, as he did, he found he didn’t have the life balance he needed to blend success in real estate, with the time off he needed to devote time at home.

That changed when Dean enrolled in his first Floyd Wickman Program – the legendary “Sweathogs” program – in Spring, 1996.  Learning directly from Floyd, Dean learned the skills everyone needs to fine tune the skills and techniques needed to build a real estate business – communication, anticipation of problems, coming up with solutions, and following up after the sale.

Dean’s business nearly doubled right away after completing his first Sweathogs program – one of four times he took Floyd’s training.  And, he consistently maintained growth each year.

In 2003, Dean built a highly-successful Real Estate Team – Dean’s Team Chicago – serving Real Estate Sellers, Buyers, and Investors throughout Chicago and its Suburbs.    Soon, his wife, Sue, joined the business, as did several Buyer’s Agents and Listing Coordinators.

Despite changes in the economy over the last few years, Dean has kept his Team’s business consistently high.  To date, his Team has successfully closed transactions for nearly 500 clients, and much of his business has come from repeat and referral from those he has successfully served.

Thanks to Floyd, however, Dean has learned to set clearer goals for his business, and use his skills to balance his personal life with his Real Estate Success.

Over the years, Dean and his Team have sold over $110,000,000 of Real Estate in the Chicago Area.  Whether handling difficult Short Sales, Hard-to-Sell Listings, or helping First-Time Buyers find their new home, Dean has become a coach, confidant, and trusted adviser to hundreds of clients.

Dean and his wife, Sue, along with their Team, have won many sales awards for Real Estate.  But their proudest career moments came when each received the prestigious Carolyn Howd Award for a Career of Giving Service through the Floyd Wickman Team.

Today, dozens hear Dean sharing Floyd’s message of sticking to the basics, mastering dialogues and goal setting, and balancing career and personal life.  Does he do an effective job, in a most memorable way?  Just ask his students, and they’ll tell you!

Lifelong Chicago Residents, Dean and Sue live in a historic home in the South Edgebrook Neighborhood on Northwest Side.   He takes pride in serving Brokers and their Agents across the Midwest.
